On July 8, 2003, Sherwood Boxers lost it’s heart and soul. Ryan died unexpectedly at home in my arms. A totally AWESOME boxer who can never be replaced or duplicated. 10 wonderful years… but not long enough. The pain and sorrow here seems never ending.
“Every time I turn around And you’re nowhere to be found, I know... I gotta long, long way to go Before I can say Goodbye To all I ever knew, To you”
Lyric excerpt from “Long, Long Way To Go” by Def Leppard

Ryan was my “wonder dog”. The one who did it all! I contacted many breeders during my search for a show-quality bitch. I was turned down by many when I told them that not only was I a novice (this was my first conformation dog), but that I planned to owner-handle in the ring and I planned to train for Obedience also! I was told repeatedly that I would ruin her and break her spirit. I finally found a breeder who would not only sell me a quality bitch but actually supported her Obedience career! Thank you Carole Suter, Ruffian Boxers, also Robert and Katherine Finch, for allowing me to share my life with this wonderful bitch! And thank you Jack Brown for getting those majors and finishing her Championship! |
